Damaged Trim

Just scrapped a post down the side of my car The trim on the Passenger side doors now has no Paint right down the middle

What can i or what should I do??

Replace? where from and how much

Repair? NEVER done anything to my car my self cos im hopeless!

Possibly just take it to a body shop, get it sprayed again.

What colour car do you have though as some colours are harder to match.

Ah, when I went for a few bits and bobs doing they told me this was the hardest colour to match, so you can either find a replacement for somewhere like www.247spares.co.uk or have the whole door resprayed, probably around £250.

Is it just the plastic trim that you need ?

You can buy them from lexus, stick on and come colour coded, i got on for my rear door from Chris s, about £35- £50 in think.

if its just the trim you can replace and you would prob not notice. if you replace them I would suggest replacing the whole side as the trim will be different colour to the door but people just asume its because the light hits it differently but the other trims next to it will (probably) show it up. find out how much Lex charge for them and find out how much a body shop would charge just to spray them.

I asume it would be about £100-£150 for body shop to just spray them IF you take them off for them.

I hope this makes sense.
