ok..so here goes, im doing a few little modifications to the monsters cooling system

the current radiator cap is measured as 1.3kg/cm2

an item i am getting has a STANT rad cap fitted measured @ 28-32 ( i am assuming this will be Lbs)

ive looked for STANT caps in the Uk and the measuremnt ive found listed is 19-20 psi

what i am asking is......are these units of measurement all the same , in there final pressure

1,3kg/cm2

28-32 (lb?)

19-20 psi

hmm just looked n the stant website

10391 (18-22 pounds)

10392 (21-25 pounds)

10393 (28-32 pounds)

These are Stant Swiv-el design caps that fit the standard SAE "A" size (2 1/8" OD, 3/4" deep) filler necks. They inlcude an upper gasket, so they are for use on open or closed cooling systems

so the measurement is in lbs as i thought.......

this is what i am getting, from a Nascar to convert the cooling system to fully closed, with a much larger coolant header tank

meaning i can control the coolant system better .....

lbs is a weight

i would presume its psi
