Lexus Is Coupe Cabriolet

HI Folks,

I am new to the forum but have been a massive Lexus fan since I got my first IS 200 three years ago.

I am lucky enough to be in a position to buy a new IS next Easter - hopefully the IS 250 Auto.

However, I have heard there will be a cabriolet out next year althouth there is no news of this on any Lexus web site.

Autoexpress thinks there will be one also.

As enthusiasts does anybody have any info. on this?

roumours about it it but i havnt seen a pic. if you got a bit of money look up the 'IS F' or 'IS500' thats going to come out for definate soon.

The IS F sounds really good - I have seen the advert.

My local dealer is more like a friend now and he says that Lexus Japan is drip feeding info as once people see the cabrio - they will hold off buying the saloons between now and next year.

I'm sure there was a guy on here who was inside at Lexus, and said there was going to be a cabriolet which would be £3k over the standard prices roughly.

I've seen no solid proof, but I'm sure there will be a convertible within the next year or two, and I'm also convinced that the IS350 will finally make it over here with it :)

IS 500 is due end of 2007 but is not cabrio
