Apexi Rsm

Hi guys,

I need some help!! I just bought an Apexi RSM and brought it to Jap Tunings to get it fitted, unfortunately, the guys there could only install it so that it reads the Battery power and the Rev, it can;t do any other functions......like timers and all that it should....

The guys there told me because its an automatic, they tried putting it on the dyno but the dyno can;t read at all cuz it kicks back when the gear changes or something like that...

Anyone experienced this problem before? What shall I do??

The only way of preventing the autobox from kicking down is to hack into the ECU and disable that particular switch. I'm working on something along these lines and will post up the solution if I ever find it.

Don't understand why it could not be done as all connections are to ECU.

I'm sure someone in the know will come along and advise.

I haven't got the Apexi RSM but have Apexi S-AFC II and the Apexi AVC-R Boost Controller Fitted.

All works fine and all have been set up on Dyno at Thor Racing.

As far as i know it's because the Auto doesn't have a speed signal like the Manual has, i think the auto gets it's reading from the ABS unit

RSM's won't work on Auto's as i was advised just before i got one...

HKS SD2 works though... speed cut at least

Got HKS SDII fitted aswell - :D :D

Well worth every penny.

So there must be a speed signal going to ECU, all connections are to ECU?
