Locked Out

Has anyone had a failure with their IS200 remote locking and then could not open the door with the key? My wife has called me, very upset as the Lexus has let her down for the first time (I'm away working so she's stuck, as the 250 is with me).

Before anyone suggests local interference for the remote problem, she originally had the problem miles from home, but after many attempts it unlocked enabling her to drive home and it then locked remotely. It now refuses to unlock remotely or mechanically using any of the three keys we have for the car (two masters and the two button spare).

Lex Bristol fitted new batteries to all the keys at the last service a month ago.

Anyone got any idea as to what the problem may be?

Only guessing here but it sounds like the keys have gone out of sync with the car. Is she or the car a member of AA or similar? If so give them a call and they will get in and try to rexolve the ket thing. Otherwise if you have a fiendly neighbour explain the way in without a key if the doors aren't deadlocked. Another thought how is the car Battery? Maybe if that is no good it's not allowing anything to happen. Can she open the boot with the keys?
