Replacing Oem Air Filter W/k&n Filter

Recommended Posts

I want to replace my OEM air filter with the K&N Filter Charging System, has any one tried this yet, and if so , was there a noticable performance and fuel savings difference. The filter was very easy to get to and replace in my `93 SC 400, how do youget to this one.

if you have a ls 400, you need to take off the front air scoop in the front of the engine comp. next is the rubber flex that connects the mass air flow sensor to the intake. next remove the circle plastic container that contains the filter. undo the locking clips and the filter is right inside.

Hey, I'd like to get the replacement K&N air filter for my LS400, but being based in the UK, I don't know where to start. Does anyone know where I can get one? I look forward to an extra 10 bhp from it!
