Not sure if it's any help but the standard ones were 5x114.3 7x17 with an offset of +50mm.

Not sure what the difference in offset will mean, don't really understand that!

Aido, i at least have a starting point, i will use the offset calculator now i have original settings, many thanks

I am looking at a set of 7x17 5x114 ET40 wheels for my 98 series 2, can anyone tell me if these are gonna be ok as i don't want to mess this up.

hi DEN, IF THE OFF SET IS OK [5X114] THEY WILL FIT, BUT U SHOULD GO WITH 18 OR 19 .I GOT 19 ON MINE AND THEY LOOK THE DOGS NUTS. TERRY
