hi ppl needing some advice- should i go for michelin pilot sports with the kerb band @ 225/40/r18's or go with toyo proxes t1-s tyres, i need maximum grip in wet and dry and something thats good on the corners and high performance as they normally get hammered lol, i just bought 4 michelins sports 5 months ago £600 worth and the back are now on the limiter and the fronts are badly worn due to excessive harsh cormerning , can anyone help ,

My Last tyres have been Goodyear Eagle F1's...grip well in both wet and dry conditions.

I am also due for new tyres, im thinking about trying out Uniroyal Rainsports as i had these on a previous car and they were great, difference is previous car was FWD, so will probably stick with what i know.

yea was looking at them also , iv always been a michy man i must admit but im getting tyres tommorow and they are setting me back 540 quid, gutted espescially when the money could be used on other things lol, basically all im wanting is something that isnt going to leave me going sideways round corners lol, iv supercharged my tezza also and have real trouble putting down full power without spinning up,

If your struggling for traction (i used to on stock 17s big time) put some wider tyres on the rear..

If your going through tyres in 6 months its worth getting your geometry checked!! the Pilot sports are damn good tyres btw!

I've been using Toyo's for years.. T1-S and now T1-R's..

superb levels of grip, wet of dry, quiet running, and comfortable..

The only downside is I wear them out too fast.. (FWD) last about 8000 miles on front, rears last ages..
