Fluffy Shelf

hi,

for those of us that do not have the Sat Nav unit in our IS's could somebody please tell me how you go about removing the little square fluffy shelf where the sat nav unit would be.

I would like to know because i am nosey at whats underneath it !!

You can gently prize it out with a very blunt instrument.

I replaced mine with one of these dash trays.

For $140 I think I will leave mine with the "fluffy Pad" lol

I certainly got mine cheaper but that was because I bought it whilst out in the States and brought it back with me.... not sure if there are any websites that sell it cheaper though....

To answer your original question LexusIS200Sport, I used the following Workshop guide Click Here

I have a IS200 Sport (with Sat Nav) 1999 on V plate. I had to remove the dash air vent which clips out and then unscrew the tray from underneath.

Just a big empty gap underneath. Sorry to spoil the suprise.
