Heating Problems

Hi guys

I have a tiny problems with my IS 200 heater, when you set it to full hot temperature it still blows cold air. I thought there is fuse problems, so I checked all fuses and I didn't find any bad ones. And by the way the hazard knob doesn't work either. And I don't have any clues how should I sort it.

Can You please help me out on this guys?

Mines having the same problem at the momnet, but mines blowing hot. could just be something inside the controls gone.

would check the connections on the back of the heater control unit and also check the temp sensor that is behind the little grille under the steering wheel.

Did anyone get to the bottom of this, i'm getting a similar problem to the OP?

With regards Rob's suggestion what specific connections do I need to check on the heater control unit (I assume this is the center console?) :)

check all the connectors are tight on the back of the controller panel.

my heating is playing up as well. the whole left side of the car blows cold whatever the setting on the heating. anyone got any advice??

Yeh mine is the same drivers side is warm passenger side is cold any ideas?

I cured this on my is300 by flushing the heater matrix couple of hours and full heating returned.

See my thread started a week or so for instructions.
