Condensation In Headlight

Had my IS about 4 years now starting to get Condensation in one of the headlights, is there anything I can do as a fix?

Take it apart, dry it out and seal it up properly again.

Ok thanks, is there any seals or anywhere I should look where the seals tend to give up?

Check the rubber seals on the bulbs and bulb fittings matey as they do rot away after time and let moisture in eventually?

i was told (although i've not tried it myself) if you put a towel or something similar over your lights whilst having them on for a while the heat build up should dry it out.

but be very careful as you could melt the headlight.

i think mine may have had this problem as the p/s side one has a slight melt like mark.

if u dont want to take apart your headlight, u can use the simple method

remove lowbeam high beam and city lights of your headlight,

take a hair dryer and heat up your headlight,

heat it up tilll al condens is gone,

mount your bulbs again and it should be ok.

it should take 15 minutes to do
