Removal Of Restrictive Cold-air Feed...

Hey all.

Spent the past 10 mins looking for a post/article I found regarding the removal of the stock cold-air feed.

Someone please put me out of my misery and point me to it!!!

I'm 99% sure it was on the LOC and had "Free BHP" in the title.

are you trying to fit an induction kit?

From memory, it was an air-box or ducting mod/replacement that basically increased air-flow. That's all.

At this point I'm not trying trying to replace anything with an induction kit. I'm merely looking to increase stock performance by modifying or adjusting existing parts.

I mean, theoretically speaking, relocating and enlarging the existing air-feed or smoothing the box would have this effect... but I saw a guide relating to it. That's all I need.

I'll talk science and performance later. Just interested in reading about it. (Unless I dreamed this article/post existed!!!).

I would doubt there was an article as with the electronic throttle N/A induction mods dont increase performance.
