It seems as if the price of fuel is rising at about the same rate as the value of an LS is descending. If it carries on like this, my 1996 jobby will soon be worth the same as a tank of fuel.

I know what you mean... mine is due a cambelt in november which would realistically include a water pump at the same time. The question is will it be worth doing? I could save the cost of the job and run the lexi till she dies and go out and buy another for a little more than the cambelt jobbie !!! Big decisions in october me thinks....
