I have recently purchased a GS430 Sport (2001) and have noticed that when driving over bumps (inclusing speed strips) the Sat Nav screen flickers. It doesn't reset or effect anything that is going on on the screen. My last GS never did this - the last one being a CD based system. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how can it be resolved - it's really annoying on a car which has no other faults of note. Your help is appreaciated.

Many thanks. I have removed my SatNav unit (as per Osaka's instructions on another poisting) but no joy - no loose connections or plugs. I have noticed another retro-fit switch on the dash (I will attach a picture later). When the car ignition is on and I hit the switch the SatMav screen goes to some kind of test card??????? and ideas?

Could this be something to do with the DVD player screens that are fitted into the reare headrests?

The mystery continues.

how are the rear screens wired through? are they stand alone or linked to the front screen?

also do you have a secondary dvd player fitted?

i can't see it being a problem with aux screens and dvd player.... check the wiring to see nothing is exposed wiring etc....

try disconecting the Battery then reconnect it.... have you had a professional look at it?
