What Size Speakers Do Is200 Take..

Recommended Posts

The fronts are 6.5" / 16 cm. You'll also probably need a spacer for the new speakers, or just use the original speaker surround, but you'll need to cut out the old speaker first (thats what I done, and you don't even have to remove the bolts from the speaker. I just cut it straight out and screwed in the new ones ;) ). There is a guide in the workshop section too mate

You'd be better putting the 16.5 cm 6.5inch ones in matey as you'll have trouble getting a spacer to fit the 5" ones unless you make some? think the spacers most have used are for a Vauxhall Corsa IIRC and can be found on eBay and even Halfords do them? But cant see there being any problems if you do fit the 5" :)

You will get much better (albeit limited anyway) bass from the 6.5" Front Speakers than 5" ones.

Any particular reason that you want 5" ones ?

You could make some MDF spacers or modify some Vectra ones with a new faceplate, but lots of extra effort for no gain IMO.
