Is300 Sportcross

is the sub in the 300 sportcross any good?

can it be added to an IS200?

want more bass but dont wanna stick a big box in the boot, i assume the IS300 one must be quite small cos cant see it in any pictures

I don't know what size it is but it is pretty small. It's better than not having a sub but it's nothing to get real excited about. It will barely vibrate the mirrors.

It's behind the trim in the right rear quarter of the luggage compartment. For less money you could probably have something custom made that will sound a lot better.

I would have thought it was specific to the design of the sportscross boot. The reason they fitted one was they weren't able to install the rear 6x9 shelf speakers fitted to the saloon.

but isnt the sportcross listed as having 9 speakers?

which means its got the normal 8 of the IS200/300 plus the sub?

but if that is true, then its just there to produce the bass that our speakers produce (which isn't really any)

It has rear speakers but I'd imagine they are smaller than the saloon as there is no rear shelf to mount them on hence the need for the sub.
