Replacing Front Bumper Lip On Is 350-- Please Help

Hello there,

I hope this is the right place to ask this... I have badly scratched up the lip of the the front bumper and want to replace them. I have the new ones, started doing it, but gave up. This lip is not a spoiler and comes in two pieces, joined at center. At first it seemed that it was just a matter of removing the 6 (or 8?) screws --which I did-- but that didn't allow me to remove the installed lip.

Can someone please give me a hand and outline the procedure of removing the lip? I cannot raise the car easily at home, so if it involves raising it more than a few inches, I will give up...

Any and all help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

Welcome to LOC :)

You may get a quicker answer asking over on the US side as this lot are all in bed now :D

If you ask on there and on a site such as http://clublexus.com there are probably people near you who could possibly help with it?

Welcome to the club matey :D is the front lip bonded on aswell as being screwed to the bumper?

Hey, thanks for the warm welcome everyone... And, yes, I am trying the US-based forum as well. Regarding the bonding-- I don't think that's the case, but somewhere there must be some clips and or other screws that I can't seem to see...

Hi Fred2yu, I've answered your question in the other post, 'front lip installation'. 9 screws 2 clips and 10 tabs. No bonding or 3M tape.
