Trafficmaster Monitor

Hi,

I am thinking of getting a Traffimaster monitor, but it has a bulky screen. And I dont think the design of the colour monitor is good for easy disconnection to keep it away from prying eyes when not in use.

Two querries-

1. Is it or is it not targetted by thieves? (It carries a monthly subscription for use, does it make it unattractive for stealing?

2. Is there a clamp for installing it with a easy release system, so that the monitor can be stowed away from prying eyes?

Hi mate

I have one of these - it's doesn't have a quick release, and would not suit one as the cables go from the screen to the gubbins under the dashboard.

I doubt if it's a theives' target (apart from the kind that will have a go at anything) - it's totally useless without the connection to TM (which is via the old analogue Vodfone network) - if one was stolen then TM would disconnect it straight away.

Super machine though - I'd certainly recommend it,
