Recommended Posts

better idea..............fuel cleaner approx £10-20 keep your money and fill your car up with vpower,it will cost you approx £3.90 more if you put 65lts of vpower in your car(6p more a lrt than normal unleaded) and it will do the same job as the cleaner if not better!!!

Anyone tried "10k Boost"????

Been told Asda are the exception from the rest of the chains, aparently they get theres from Russia, so was advised to put Redex in every few thousand if using Asda.

Dont know if thats bull**** or not, maybe someone can correct me on this matter. :winky:

Yup thats absolute bull cause they get it from the same tank from the same refinery as every other garage. Trust me I work @ the plant that makes it

It would be interesting to see where all the BP ultimate comes from and all the Shell V Power comes from as well. I run my LS on BP Ultimate only because it seems that the bigger the engine, the more of a benefit you get in terms of horsepower and smoothness. My Nissan Micra I have always ran on Sainsbury's and had no trouble. I did run my previous Micra for a year on BP Ultimate and when Nissan changed the spark plugs on a service, they said that there was no difference in the colour of the spark plugs compared to when I ran it on standard unleaded.

Personally, I wouoldn't bother with any petrol treatment unless you have a problem with rough running.

In the USA they use somthing called Seafoam. Youtube it if you like smoke screens. Apparently this is good at cleaning our "carbon build-up" but I'm not too sure.
