Lexus Roadside Assist

I have had the Lexus roadside assist for the past few years, cos for the full cover for 2 cars it seems to be the cheapest (not that I have used it!!).

What do others think about it? Had a quick look around and it seems to cover 2 cars with homestart its not actually bad value.

Even the CSMA Britannia Rescue cover for 2 cars is more expensive.

The last time i saw lexus cover it was for roadside and home breakdown for about the same price as RAC. And infact it is in partnership with RAC, except they offer for i think 14 or 15 months, rather then 12 months which is the norm. Think it was around £80

currently its £79 if you pay direct debit and they will give you 15 months.

You are right, its with the RAC, but if you go to the RAC website you cannot get the cover they offer for that price, its well over £100!

It also covers you and partner if you contact them to add your partner and also covers you both in ANY car as it is personal cover. Also full European cover...........RAC normally charge around £150 for this cover!

Wouldn't buy it separately TBH - always extended my Lexus Warranty and it came with it. Don't think we ever needed during our years ownership though...

Im with the RAC but you say it costs more if you use them? Very odd

Take a look on the Lexus website, there will be a section on the roadside assist. Anyone can get it with a Lexus of any age.

Or call 0845 278 8888 and quote LEX01 to get 15 months for the price of 12 (£89 or £79 if direct debit).

Seems for the level of cover is a good deal then.

this may sound a stupid question but why should i take this out when im already covered by the RAC? What extra do they provide?

If already covered by RAC then best to wait until it finishes! Otherwise you gain nothing really and have to pay out more.
