Auto Lights - When Are Yours On?

Recommended Posts

If the IS250 is anything like the IS200 there is a small amount of adjustability with the auto headlights to make them come on a little earlier or a little later......hopefully someone else can confirm :)

It's worth gettng it checked out, mine seem to come on around 8pm at the mo on the typical clear sunny day - but as I say it could just need a little bit of tweaking to make it come on later which hopefully one of the other IS250 owners can confirm.

Don't know about the IS250, but when I had my IS200s I had them altered by the stealership. Unfortunately it needs re-doing when Battery is diconnected or they flash the memory at a service. I had to provide them instructions off the www.

Having seen this thread the other day, I did a test tonight on my way back down the M1 from Yorkshire. My car’s an old model IS300, but the results might be useful. The auto lights came on at 2044, which was about 20 minutes earlier than I would have switched them on myself. The sat nav screen dimmed into night mode at 2137. (It was a very boring run down the motorway and yes, I did have nothing better to do!).
