Iphone Buzz

Anyone encounting a buzz when making a call on an Iphone 3GS?. e.g. The time between initiating the call and it ringing produces a loud buzz on the speakers. I have an RX400h 55 plate.

This did not happen when I tried on a newer LS recently.

Anyone else seen this?

Anyone have a solution?

This sounds like the sort of buzzing you get from any phone, rather than an Iphone specific issue. What happens if you put another type of phone in the same location as your Iphone and make a call using that? My first guess would be 'the same thing'...

Try putting the phone in another location in the car (for testing, just leave it on the passenger seat maybe?)

I have the same problem with my GS 300 06

it's "normal" so im told. it doesnt always do it for me and if i make the call from the phone and not the touch screen it never buzzes at all, it just takes longer to connect and other person usually hangs up!!

Apparently it's down the the crappy software on the Bluetooth lexus kit. I doubt they will fix it. and this affects more than just Iphones.

U used to have a Windows Mobile Blackjack device and never encountered this issue.

Its a real shame as i make quite a lot of calls from the car.
