Facelift Is250

I've got an '09' IS250 SE-L at the mo as my IS200 is being serviced, and I have to say I really like the facelifted model - so many niggles have been ironed out that just make the experience so much nicer :)

Mirrors folding automatically on lock is also a nice feature and the cooling seats seem a lot more effective than the pre-facelift cars I've had in the past. However the ML system doesn't appear to sound quite as crisp as it did on the earlier cars, has anything changed? Mind you I've only tried the radio so far, not a CD so it could just be poor reception.

Also to anyone that has one, what's the setting on the reverse camera that creates a silly warning that you have to "agree" to before it gives you the picture? At first I thought it did that every time but I've switched that off now......but I can't seem to figure out what it's actually doing. The button seems to look as though it's to aid with the size of a parking space but it doesn't seem to do much.

The reverse camera warning only appears when the parallel parking mode is selected. When the reverse camera image is displayed, touch the icon in the bottom right of the screen to select the manual mode. In this mode, the camera image is displayed whenever reverse is selected without any warning. In this mode the yellow lines appear showing the direction the car will take with the current steering wheel lock. From memory I think there are 2 or 3 other modes, but I think this is the best.

Yep I switched it off once I figured out that was causing it, just couldn't figure out what that mode actually tells you?

Otherwise it's all very nice, really like the two tone interior too but I'm guessing some would be put off by it.
