Spare Keys ?

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I CAN GET A MASTER KEY (3 BUTTONS) FOR THE IS200 ? I HAVE JUST BOUGHT THE CAR WITH ONLY ONE KEY (2 BUTTONS) & THE DEALER CANT HELP ME.

You need to go back to the dealer and see if he can get you the 3 button key for your car.

The 3 button key is the master key, you need the 3 button master key to make spare keys- without it you' re :tsktsk:

If you loose the only key you have, then you are looking at a big bill (Lexus will charge you £2k for new locks, keys and ECU + labour & VAT). Although I have heard some decent locksmiths can reprogram ECU's, copy keys etc?

DON'T LOOSE THE ONLY KEY YOU HAVE!

I have the same problem

Japanese 2 key and I cannot recode !

I am hoping the nice people at clifford can take the central locking of my keyfob and put it onto the alarm so I never

have a problem if I lose the main key.

The spare opens the car and starts the thing anyway !

one of the key fobs should also have a small metal tag with a code on it - they need that for the imobiliser i think.
