Good evening ladies and Gents,

I've recently got my hands on a brand spank new TTE front bumper, and was waiting for some nice weather to fit... this happened this week

Face1.jpg

The bumper was an absolute bugger to fit but I managed to do it! And i'm well chuffed with the final result... :D

However i do have a couple of questions... i'd like to know if anyone who fitted their own TTE front bumper experiened any issues when fitting it :duh:

The instruction that came with the bumper were as vague as a politician, so i think i've fitted it right... the only thing i'm unsure about is the two short spar located a the base of front wheel arches and where they bolt on... i had to force them forward and attach them to the first bolt holding the front mud guard... is this correct????

The second and final thing, the old bumper held the front of the engine belly plate (undershield) in place but the new TTE bumper doesn't have any fixing points.

Are there any work rounds to affix the undershield to the new TTE Bumper... as my engine belly plate tried to come off while i was driving down a dual carriageway... :crybaby: not a pleasant experince...

Cheers

the tte bumpers range from £80 to approx £150.i got mine for £80 but that was because the boy just thought it was a standard front bumper but i have seen others on the bay for £80.

i paid £60 for a front bumper paint but that was due to the fact i'm in the trade........most people pay from £100-£200 for a bumper paint but heres a tip..if you are planning to get the rest of the kit if you get it and get it all painted at once it works out cheaper.

heres my tte bumper and it was blue when i got it.

ps their has been a few blue ones for sale they sold for £120 plus p&p(approx £20)

Not sure about the bit by the arch However,

I had the same on my bumper on the bottom fitting the undertray, all you need to do is find the small pre-drilled holes (they are there just very small) then drill them a bit bigger, so the plastic clips with the thread part, that you get on the undertray can fit in the hole, then screw it together.
