when you put the foot down and the revs go up but the speed doesnt go up as much then yep the clutch is slipping

Ahhh, so it is the same as a normal cabled clutch, just making sure I know it does start slipping before I get stranded somewhere. Thanks

Had the clutch changed on my IS200 Sport yesterday by the local Lexus stealership, £540 with labour, parts and VAT.

My Lexus dealer told me to put it in 4th, not in 6th. Handbrake on and then drive away swiftly. The engine should stall immediately with a shock. When it hesitates or keeps running, try again and verify if it was you or the clutch... :winky:

easiest way to find out if your clutch is slipping or not.

What mileage did u manage before the change?

The car had covered around 87k miles before I noticed it had slight clutch slip. It drives a whole lot better now,
