Tyre Wear Question

Does everyone have it on the inner side (closest to the engine) or the outer side. From what I have found on here it seems that everyone has inner wear. Would outer wear mean there is a problem with the suspension?

tyre wear like that is caused by wheel alighnment issues, wearing on the inside is caused by toe out ie the wheels aren't running straight they are pointing outwards.

wear on the outer edges is caused by toe in ie wheels pointing inwards.

both problems will req a wheel alighnment check.

wear on both edges underinflated.

hope that helps.

If you have wear solely on the outside and mainly the NSF tyre then the problem is toe. If you have prominent wear on the inners then the problem is camber/castor. I re-wrote the chassis settings for the Lexus some years back and the settings are available here in the clubs knowledge bank.
