The other half just complained that the washing machine, was clanking and banging, once it finished we opened it up to find that the noise was my key fob, keyring and clubcard, well i stripped it down, dried it the best i can and put it in the airing cupboard.

Now all i hope it works as i cant find my spare car and with this cold weather i dont want to have to walk to the station which is 3 miles away.

Any other suggestions welcomed.

Any of you done the same thing and did your still work????

Let us all know whether your key fob still works. Hope you find your spare car.

Upfront apologies but did you use CALGON in the washing machine as "Key fobs last longer with Calgon"

Seriously if you got to it quick enough and dried it out before any corrosion sets in you have agood chance of recovery.
