Error code 3 again time for new unit. Have ordered a facia plate. Bypass lead needed or not. My car has the unit out of a "s" model in it curently so i believe it doesnt have an amp therefore would presume i wouldnt need a bypass lead, no amp no need to bypass it.

I have read all the threads and post non seem to be conclusive as to if i need one or not. Also has any one got a lead that isnt the problematic auto lead that everyone is struggling with. Most of the threads seem to use a certain lead that is then problematic.

Better still anyone have a wiring diagram for the stereo loom can work out the wiring and bypass it myself.

Hoping to get the stereo out and new one in quickly so dont really want to have to pull it out and leave it out while i get a lead

if your car is a S then you dont need a amp bypass lead.
