Just Bought 2 Hid Kits

Just ordered myself 2 sets of hid kits from www.hids-direct.co.uk last night. Treat for Xmas. :winky:

One for the dipped and one for the main beam

HERE is the link to what I bought. Got 5000k dipped and 6000k main beam.

HERE is the link to the LED sidelights I got. Anyone got these and know if theyre any good?

Will put some pics up of when I get them and install them.

Do I need any certain tools to install?

Oh, and what type of bulbs do I need for the indicators?

just started the fitting. Aint got a clue how to fit the hids. fitted the sidelights which work, and got a set for the rear reg. HOW ON EARTH do you fit them? looks like I would have to take out a piece of metal which is welded in. Some help would be appreciated.

to fit the rear reg plate ones u have to take the carpet lining off the boot lid then there is four nuts holding it in. once you have taken the nuts off the housing is held in via two plastic plug type fittings a slight pull should get it off.

question do you have to get two sperate HID kits for full and normal beams (one for full beam and one for dipped beam)

yes mate you do. I got 2 kits as said in the opening post.

Got them sorted and the rear plate leds. Look ace, only now think i should have got both 6000k bulbs.
