So guys ...black or silver ...or carbon fibre? my car is and I am thinking to paint some bits and pieces in black (headlights, stop lights, indicators, and maybe the roof.)

If your car is going to have some black areas I'd try a black spoiler, you can always paint it if you don't like it. I fitted a black spoiler rather than body coloured to my weekend toy

I have a black one but then i have a black car. Mines rubber from japan cost me 12 quid. I gave it a tee cut and a polish its so shinny now it looks painted. Mine came straight so had to bend it to fit the curve of the boot. Took 2 of us about 5 minutes to fit

Looks good mate, any improvements in performance? How about the sound of it?

Theres a change in exhaust noise, its a little louder and a little fruitier, but not alot just enough that you can tell its been done. Aparently on the outside its louder but from inside you cant tell that much. I didnt want a noise change just done it for the looks really just to make it a bit diffrent from anyone elses.

Performance wise its the same although its a higher flow. I used the same size pipe as the front section so theres a drop in presure, as technically the rear section of the exhaust is twice the size bore (same size just 2 of the pipes). I put in 2 back boxes to keep the nose down the standard Lexus back box didnt fit on the passenger side so i bought 2 1989 escort xr3i back boxes and just chopped the pipe of them i just needed the boxes. I am not perfectly happy with the tail pipes one slightly points up the other is straight and level, but as they were cheap ones anyway the chrome has gone of on them already so they will be coming off.

Other than that it was a pretty straight forward job. I have a hole stack of exhaust catalouges so just trawled through them looking for bits of pipe the shape i needed Ford mondeo was ideal for the piece across the back axle i had to 90 degree bends that i sliced and made into a Y shape.
