Need to buy two child booster seats for the wife's 'new' Merc estate. I rang Mercedes who sell a seat called KidFix which is made by Britax but with an MB logo. It costs £299.

The same seats by Britax cost £109 each, with free delivery.

Some car manufacturers must think we are daft.

Have to agree, asked Mercedes for a satnav update DVD from our dealer, quoted well over £300 - can get the same genuine disc online for £200.

You should try buying parts for a mitsubishi. The fuel pump on my wifes shogun pinin 2.0 is £800 and its the size of a fag packet.

yep it is on some cars

i had to replace one on the d4d avensis was exactly the same

pressure plate you have to purchase seperately to the clutch

i purchased mine from a shop in manchester not genuine for £500 and fitted it myself at my house in the drive

took my 2 days not bad i dont think considering that i did it in the drive no ramp etc and its front wheel drive

Was in the reception af the local tuning firm a couple of years ago, and the receptionist quoted a bloke with a Mitsibushi Evo 500 quid for a set of front brake pads.

Dont know what these pads were made of, probably myrrh..
