2002 Is200 Head Unit

Hi all

my head unit really p!55es me off#

sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt it is really annoying

i know its a common problem i used to also have this problem with my 1999 is200 sport

anyway whats the solution? my cars of road at the moment (check my other thread) and i want to get it fixed before it goes back on the road

Unfortunately when these headunits go there isn't a lot you can do - best to just replace it with an aftermarket one.

i have a few headunits but i didnt want to spoil the look of the interior to be honest

any pics of what it looks like inside with a headunit fitted

Mines - a double din

For me, Double din, 7" screen is the only way to go!!!!

i have to agree with deckie it does look good

ive already got two subs in the boot with an amp and stock speakers are already awseome as they are

so might just get a double din fitted

Hi i had the same problem with my 2001 is200.

if you have the same problem err3 its because 1 of the cd carriers maybe twisted but this is very easy to fix.

all you need to do is remove the top cover, the cds wil be on top just re sit the carriers and replace the top it will work fine

this will not work with pre 2001 as the cd changer is under the cassette player.

im also ****** with my oem radio! ill be replacing it with a pioneer. my cd doesn't work as well as my fm! so sad i have to do it old syle, tape/casette! lol
