Back Box

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I managed to get hold of a nice tailpipe (thanks to Felix) which I plan to cut down to size and weld onto my Back Box.

I wanna get the back box off to make the job easier and prevent possible damage to rear bumper.

Is it simply two bolts holding it to the mid-section and a rubber hanger on the box?

Also with refitting should i get a new gasket for the join to the mid-section?

Anything else I should be aware of when removing/refitting the back box?

Cheers

go under the car to were the back box meets the midsection and pull down and make sure it moves(its a spring loaded joint)if it does(no need to replace the carbon ring) remove the two 14mm bolts and pull the box off its rubbers job done!!
