Clearing Windscreen Washer Jets.

Recommended Posts

My Is200 has twin washer jets in each side. On the driver's side one of the pair was spraying weakly and horizontally, not 45degrees. I plucked a single bristle from a household floor brush and pushed it into the blocked jet. This did not improve things so I pushed the bristle up the good jet and it went in much further. Went back to the blocked jet and managed to push it in further. This cleared the jet so now all is well. I wouldn't advise a pin because you might damage the jet or pierce the tubing.

Oh, I do love free fixes.
