Replacement Or Aftermarket Wheels

Recommended Posts

I am looking to purchase a second set of alloys for my LS 400 on which to run winter tyres. Lexus want around £300 per wheel for new ones which is daft so what do other people run? I understand that the Toyota Supra has the larger brake calpiers and a similar offset so if the aftermarkets fit that car then either 16's or 17's will fit the LS 400 without causing too much discomfort. Am going to run Vredesteinwinter tyres from mid November until the end of March 2011.

I've just bought a set of these which will fit,

Only thing is my present aftermarket alloys use the tapered nuts and the new wheels like Lexus originals use the sleeved type/flat nuts,I did have the original set but having searched high and low cannot find them.

They should fit as the series 2 did have the bigger calipers fitted, give me a couple of days to get them fitted and I will make sure there is plenty of clearance and take some pictures.

I decided to drive up to collect today as it was a nice day and the LS needed a good run out, good thing was the guy picked out the best 4 from the pallet and they have now cleaned up like new.

There are also 2 colours a light silver and in my case I had the darker silver with the car being dark silver itself.

The marks you can see in the pictures are would you believe it from hammer on balance weights fitted by Mitsubishi!!

I have a set if you want. Totally original in OK nic & with decent tyres too. PM me if you're interested.
