Ipod Adapter For Stock Stereo + Hello

Hello,

Firstly I'd like to introduce myself;-

My name is Phil and I own a Toyota Altezza (Jap version of the is200, live near Horsham in West Sussex and this is my first post as a member although I have browsed these forums several times as well as being a member of www.Tezzaworld.com

I bought a GROM Ipod adapter for my stock stereo in the Altezza which cost around £100 - It didn't work :-(

The japanese stereos have a TV tuner instead of an external CD changer and so it doesn't work correctly.

It is, however, supposed to be compatible to work with all versions of the IS and thought I'd let you know that it's an alternative solution to changing the stereo out (they never look quite right with aftermarket ones in my opinion).

Anyway, I don't want everyone to think I've come on here ONLY for my own personal gain because this isn't the case. It took me ages to be aware of this and just wanted to alert the users of this owners club too.
