Hi I have a 1999 is200se and am trying to change my stock stereo for a double din. I have tried various harness' and have had no luck. I have now bought an amp by pass cable and have removed the amp but the harness doesn't fit. Do I need to remove both of the plugs from the amp or just the wider one? This is driving me insane as I now have my inside of my car in bits and need to get it sorted. Any help whatsoever would be appreciated, thanks

No it doesn't, Halfords sold me the wrong lead twice so I have returned them and don't want to buy another until I know what one to get. So if I get this lead is it just gonna be a case of plugging it straight in and it's ready to go?

Yes in a word, To the original poster, if you remove kick panel there's a bolt which holds dash unbolt that and you can pull dash toward you and gives more room.
