Ucf20 Jdm Ls400/celsior Rear Lights

As you are probably aware the inner rear clusters are different to the European spec ones, the boot lock position is the main difference due to the Japanese type of number plate fitted.

However the US specification LS400 ones apparently will fit as they use the same arrangement and people have bought the after market US replacements and have had to modify the inner clusters to fit the UK spec cars where as they are a straight fit on the JDM Celsiors.

There is a 1991 Celsior being broken locally to me I'm not sure if the clusters are exactly the same on the UCF20 and I know the near side outer is smashed but the others are fine.

If I can help let me know I don't mind removing them and posting them to you for what it costs.

Just found this US spec LS400 the rear lights look the same as the Celsior.

Thanks for your advice and link steve, I think looking at the differences I was at first looking for a imported UCF20 for sale, but as currently I could not find anything for sale, I went down the route of possibly buying a uk spec car and then converting it over. I just prefer the JDM rear lights as there is more light on the rear compared to the UK spec ones.

Those USA ones seem pretty much the same as the JDM ones, thanks for that.

Hi,

No problem but bear in mind the inner clusters will not fit European specification cars without modification and the lighting wiring will also need modifying.

They do produce more light than the UK spec though.

If you look where the lights themselves finish on the inner clusters that is the size of the UK clusters so the JDM ones are around 3 inches wider
