Headlight Washer Caps

Recommended Posts

  • 4 weeks later...

The caps are connected to the washer actuators (which are the bits on the inside of the bumper) by a couple of screws on the inside of the bumper.

Take the bumper off and disconnect the washer lines to get easy access to them. This will drain your washer bottle out onto the ground pretty sharpish, so mind your feet don't get too wet, or use a bucket to catch it and refill after you get the new caps on.

With the TTE bumper, there are guidelines (sort of) on the inside of the bumper that you have to cut out. Ormi fitted my bumper for me, and used a dremel to cut out the washer apertures.

Hope that helps.

that pretty much explains all i needed to know. :) so the washers can only be fitted/removed/adjusted with the bumper off.

i dont suppose you happen to know how the washers are mounted to the back of the bumper? clips? screws?
