Hi All

got stuck in snow today. Tried every thing to come out but the wheel would just slip, TRC would come on and there would be very little movement in the wheels. Books says that turning off the traction control should help pull out of snow. I tried switching it off but nothing happend. the TRC stayed on and the "sliping car" light didnt come on as said in the book. Then I tried turning off TRC/VSC together by holding down the button for 3 seconds, nothing happened.

Am I doing something wrong, or is the button/connection broken or something like that?

Hi - I don't think the button's broken. I've noticed that I can turn my IS220D's TC off but if the car loses grip, it turns it back on. I can turn it off once more, but if it loses grip again, it turns it back on and won't let you turn it off again until the engine has been turned off and on again. Sounds like the same sort of thing for yours. If you turn TC off prior to trying to move off in snow it might help. Having said that, even turning TC off hasn't helped me in the last couple of weeks. It's a garage queen at the moment.
