Climate / Heater Controls Not Working

I recently replaced my climate controls (which where working perfectly) because of damage to one of the knobs. However, after replacing the unit i am only getting hot air blowing even with the temperature set to low and the air con on. Also the mode is stuck to face and wont switch between modes ie. foot well blower or windscreen blower etc. I tried another unit and still the same problem! Any advise would be greatly appreciated as its driving me nuts! Thanks, Gary

if you still have the old one then put it back in and buy a set of chrome knob covers from eBay for 37 pounds. or take you unit apart and fix it.

these knobs have a wire control thing on the back. you can also just sway the broken dial with the one from you not working unit

I dont think its the dials thats the problem. As i said ive tried two sets of controls and still the same problem :-( I dont have the old ones any more either.

there are 2 types of controls out there. i brought a set to do my LED change but found they were diferent. might be that. or could be your ac not working. hope someone on here has some more idea's for you.

As Jay says theres more than one type, check the part number. but youll need the old one to check i suppose
