235/40/80 Tyres, Will They Rub If Lowered?

hi ive just got some 18" rims for my is200 (7.5j) my cousin owns a tyre garage he recommended running 235/40/18 tyres all round, would these rub if it gets lowered by 35-40mm many thanks luke

dont think id be using him.........235 on a 7.5 is a bit wide for that wheel....225 would be better also what offset are you using?im running a et35 so the widest i can go with out modding the arches is 215's....

but need to know the offset to give you a answer
