Have just developed a noise today from the front like a dry rubbing, it ok at 10 mile an hour but you can hear it above this speed and its the same on turning the steering wheel and with my foot on brakes and you can hear more with windows are shut, i think its a dry bearing but it could be caliper as i had one of the recond last year so it could be the other one, hopefully i will check out bearings, caliper, pads, disc, and back plate over weekend, also i did developed a fibration a couple of months back when braking at 70 and higher its ok at lower speed i did put this down to a wheel needs rebalancing but have not done anything about it upto now but are the 2 connected to the same problem, any addvice welcome.

I would tend to think more a bearing if it is louder with the window shut, but a caliper/slider issue would certainyl be cheaper and easier to fix. he vibrating under braking could also be a sign of sticking caliper/slider or the resulting warp of a disc if it got bad enough.

Thats the same line I am thinking mate maybe the salt off the roads have corroded the pins (hopefully), as for bearings which it dos sound like I would have thought LEXUS would have picked them up in MOT a couple a months ago, its abit windy here today so may not get to have a look today.
