I've owned performance cars for twenty years, including Skylines, Imprezas, an M3, DC2 and quite a few others. Great fun but all higher maintenance and ruinous when I inevitably break them (regular track days, sprints and the odd drift event)

After another attempt at mk2 Golf ownership caved in a little while ago and in a rather unusual deal, I ended up with a 2000 W plate Se version. Not sure of the colour other than it being blue, but it's a 6 speed manual and I'm frankly delighted with the car.

Unsure of intended mods; I'll probably leave it as is in truth (quote me on that :winky: )

It has standard wheels now.

One thing I did want to ask of you, the rear lights..........is there a reliable way to change the colour of these using film like the Lamin-x stuff? I don't fancy painting them with tint spray or splitting them like I have seen on here (Braver and more patient than I am)

Nice forum by the way.
