My LPG-converted LS400 has been faultless since I had it done, by Worsley Autogas, just outside Manchester. He's done a few Lexus's, in fact the last time I went to fill up (65p a litre now) he had a converted GS300 for sale.

The cheapest I've seen LPG for is 70.9p/litre tbh, is there a great deal of variation in price across the UK?

My local garage is 72p but each time you go you have a loyalty card which is stamped and you get 1p graduating to 10p off per litre each visit and when you have finished the card you start all over again.

I have two of them and use one for building up to 5p on mainly small fillups then for 70litre+ plus use the card with the largest discount, today I had £6.20 in discount.

This may be to late with regard to your LPG conversion, I had my 03 ls430 done near Preston although I live a good distance away it suited me at the time, it may be in your area so I thought I would mention the following. The actual gas conversion works great i'ts bang on with gear changes at all speeds and revs can't fault it, but the installation could have been so much better. Left with iron filings in boot, what looks like spark burns in the boot carpet, a VSC warning light that needed a trip to Lexus to have it cleared and worst the dipped lights stopped working due to a broken wire in loom took me a long time to find that, also with a little bit of forthought they could have fitted the 100ltr tank better to allow the spare to go back into it original space it only took me an hour and it's sorted, what a shame a good business being spoilt by poor workmanship, or was I just unlucky if you want any more info let me know how and i'll contact you.
