Engine Management Light - Knock Sensor Faulty?

The engine management light came on my car a few days ago after a mate did some doughnuts and it has gone into some kind of safe mode where power is restricted..

Put it on OBD and it shows Knock sensor 2 bank 2.

Anyone have any ideas as I've not heard of a knock sensor going?

you can try a ecu reset, either remove the Battery cables for 10 minutes or take out the 2 fuses in the motor fuse box. think they are efi and ecu, then run the car and check if the fault is comming back,i had a small problem when i did some mods and had a fault, after a reset it has never shown up again

I've already tried resetting the ecu but the same code keeps coming back.

Turns out to be the knock sensor, little thing causing so many problems, or saving my engine from them! Car was giving 200 miles to a full tank with it faulty!

I got 2 sensors from the breakers as there's 2 banks but they're the same sensor.

So I've got a spare one for sale if anyone wants it.
