Hey guys, how much movement/play should there be in a duel mass flywheel? I guess there must be a little but is there anyway to do a manual test??

Also, whats the best stuff to clean up the gearbox??

Cheers.

Many thanks for that Ormi, bought a used flywheel and box today and as you say, there is around 3/4 inch play and i thought it was fecked!

Noticed there is slight play at the end of the gearbox shaft, is that normal?

By the way, where did you get the body kit from for your car?

Ormi, play is right to left, guess a couple of mm, no in/out play.

Do like your kit mate, where did you get it?

And "yes" lex2oos, our cars do have a dual mass flywheel...great until they fek up.
