Afternoon

Yesterday I decided to go to the rolling road, and get the car on it to see some figures.

I was quite disappointed with the results. I was expecting this sort of figures, but from supposed stock 220Bhp, I didn't even get near to that. The guy at the RR said that it's the autobox that let's the power stream down.

Well anyhow, I got 172.7HP at the flywheel, and 136.6HP at the wheels.

The GS300 has 88k, K&N panel filter, and was serviced 4 months ago

Any feedback on this :)

What sort of figures were you expecting? I don't know if the figures you give are normal for this model or not.

Oh really. He never mentioned that, and nor did i even know. How is it even meant to work on the dyno

Was there any particular reason for getting it done?

A particular reason to getting the dyno done? Utter curiosity to see what the car was running, that's all.

Sorry, I'm not too clued up on the technicalities of how the dyno machines work, all I know is that doing them on an automatic is unlikely to yeald the right results due to the fact that when you are flooring the car, it will keep kicking down and changing gear. So to stop it kicking down, you can't give it maximum throttle and hence a low power output.

No bother - thanks
