Hid Headlight Conversion

I bought HID conversion kit for my wifes car. Instalation seemed to be plug and play but now the high beams won't work and fog lights either. Is there something different about this car or is there a more specific kit?

Which kit did you buy, the hi-low kit with HID dipped beam and normal hi-beam?

If you only bought the single beam type you will have no hi beam.

The bulb wiring plug on mine needed modifying due to the way Lexus do the switching on most cars the light switch supplies the +12 volts to the bulb but on Lexus the switch actually completes the earth connection.

On mine it was just a case of taking the three way connector pins out of the socket and moving their positions.

I will have a look at mine and give you the correct positions when I get a few minutes.
